The Scottish Storytelling Centre accepts no liability for any loss or damages, which be incurred by relying on the information contained in the website.

All performance details on the Scottish Storytelling Centre website are subject to change without prior notice, although we will make every reasonable effort to inform tickets holders where possible.

In accessing this site, you are accepting possible risk of your PC, software and all associated data being damaged by a computer virus.

The Scottish Storytelling Centre is committed to complying with the Data Protection Act (1998) and to uphold the principles of good information handling practice.

Site Security
Security measures have been employed to protect against the loss, misuse or amendment of information entered into this site. All personal information is encrypted, so that it cannot be read in transit.

If you use our online booking service, we will request information essential to process your transaction - such as contact details. We do not have any access to your personal banking details - these are held by Paypal. Our online booking form includes an automatic request for you to join our email distribution list. You can opt out of this by unchecking the box. The Scottish Storytelling Centre will contact you regarding your transaction if there is a problem with the booking, or if we need to check something with you.

  • The Management reserves to right to refuse admission and change artist(s) and substitute or cancel any performance.
  • Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break.
  • All seating is unreserved, unless specifically stated otherwise.
  • The SSC operates a No Smoking policy.
  • The use of cameras, video or audio equipment is forbidden without prior permission from the Centre Manager.
  • It is not always possible to refund or exchange tickets. Refunds or exchanges are at the Manager's discretion.
  • All online transactions are subject to a £1 online transaction fee. This covers the cost of providing online booking as well as postage and credit card charges.

Online ticketing closes on the morning of performance. If you wish to book on the day of a performance, please call the Box Office on 0131 556 9579.
